Christian Foundations

Two different 9 part series looking at the basics of living a Christian Life. As well as the usual series of Meeting Plans we have a series of Short Plans that cover the same themes.
Short Plans have fewer activities and the materials presesnted should be more suited to either a shorter session, or maybe a school assembly type scenario.
(for use with 5-6, 7-10, 11-14, 15+)

SERMON ON THE MOUNT

A series of 'Short Plans' picking up on 17 themes from the Sermon on the Mount.
Short Plans have fewer activities and the materials presented should be more suited to either a shorter session, or maybe a school assembly type scenario.
(for use with 7-10, 11-14, 15+)
These sessions are not yet all available.

New Testament Letters

Meeting plans to unpack a little of the content from each of the letters in the New Testament, from Romans to Jude.
(for use with 7-10, 11-14, 15+)

The Big Picture

The Big Picture is a series of 68 assembly and collective worship ideas that can be used with under 12's in groups, or in schools in assemblies. There is a session for each book in the Bible with two extra sessions to provide an overview of the Old and New Testaments. Each session provides some notes for leaders, suggests a song, provides a relevant graphic image to display and a prayer.

The materials have been loaded under the 7-10 age group, but are equally suitable for use with 5-6's.

POLITICAL ENGAGEMENT

A short three part series…

  • looking at what God thinks about politics and government
  • challenging young people to think about their own beliefs and how they can make a difference in the world around us
  • and encouraging young people that they can engage in politics.

These meeting plans are written in a style to put a greater emphasis on the young people running the sessions for themselves. You may find it useful to provide your group with a copy of the meeting plan and then complete the activities with them, as opposed to running the activities for them.
(for use with 15+)

Worldviews

Following on from the theme of our 2007 Leaders' Training Conferences this 20 part series looks at the stories of some eccentric, some well known, some rather strange characters from around the world, past and present. Each have an interesting life story, driven by different things. The sessions seek to unpack the stories and the motivation of each character to see what we can learn from them.
(for use with 11-14, 15+)
These sessions are not yet all available.

Energize In The News

This series will unpack recent big news stories, looking at the people involved, the issues raised, what the Bible has to say, how you can bring this to your group and links for further information.
(generally more suitable for 11+)

Energize @ The Movies

The idea of this series is that as a group you watch a film and then, using these resources, unpack the worldviews and underlying stories and influences that come out of watching the film.
(age suitability will depend on the film choosen)
